However, the lack of English among the staff created initial confusion, impacting the check-in process.

The shower felt cramped and inadequate drainage caused flooding concerns!!! The window placement limited natural light, making the room feel darker. A better layout could improve the overall experience significantly!!! The lack of communal atmosphere left much to be desired.

I had a very positive experience at La Casa Del Barrio. The owners, JJ and Anny, provided exceptional service and were always ready to assist in organizing local trips. The hostel is also used for art exhibitions, which adds a unique touch, offering guests opportunities to enjoy cultural events during their stay. Its location is excellent, only a two-minute walk from the best museum in Monterrey, making it convenient for exploring the city.
